on my way to the PURANDAR fort, just after crossing the SASWAD village, i came across the stupendous SAHYADRI MOUNTAIN range.
in the SASWAD village, just off the road towards PURANDAR fort, away from all eyes, hidden between trees i found this SHIV temple know as the CHANGATESHWAR temple. the serenity of this place made a place in my heart.
i got this view of the royal CITY PALACE from one end of the JAG MANDIR temple which is located right in the middle of LAKE PICHOLA. the sun set coloured this palace in gold.
i was on the boat which took as around the PICHOLA LAKE. we were going back to the jetty after spending some time at JAG MANDIR. i saw the hues of purple made by the sunset on the ARAVALLI moutain range.
after watching a short puppet show "bengal ka jadugar" at the SHILPGRAM, an artisan's village, i saw these puppets displayed in the same shop. i felt as if they were waiting their turn on the small stage.
it was already turning dark and it was too late to climb the PURANDAR fort. on the way down, i saw the silhouette of MURARBAJI DESHPANDE formed on the background clouds.
i was planning this for a long time now, my own "photoblog". and i am happy to start one today, that too on a diwali eve. this is a serious attempt towards my dream. i am sure you will enjoy it.
